First Ultrasound At 9 Weeks 1 Day Posted: 05-04-06 14:22pm
Hey ladies, just giving an update. I went
to the doctor's office this afternoon and
I had my first ultrasound! It was so
unreal! I started to cry once I saw the
little arms and leg start to move about.
My baby was moving so much, baby would
hardly sit still! We heard the heartbeat
and it was an astonishing 163 bpm. And my
doc estimated my due date at 12-6-06 by
lmp and the ultrasound tech estimated the
same date by the size of the fetus so baby
is right on track with development! I'm
so excited I can hardly keep my eyes off
the picture they printed.

Awww I had one at 10 weeks and she was
moving around and looked like a jumping
bean. Isn't it fun?

Yeah I definately wanna know what the sex
is ! The ultrasound tech said that at my
next ultrsound, they should be able to
tell what the sex is. I'm having my next
one in june at about my 15th week. She
was confident that we'll know then by
judging the size of the baby now. Seeing
my baby for the first time was so
exciting! Baby was only about 1 and 1/4
long but it was so much like human! The
head, legs, and arms were so definately
there and baby was moving them around so
much it was unreal. I feel so much more
"pregnant" now that I have seen for fact
that my little peanut is really there and
is moving about.

Thats exactly what we called are baby at
our first ultrasound was a peanut. It
looks so weird. My last ultrasound at 16
weeks the baby was really kicking and
moving all over but some of the pictures
that we got the babys face kind of looks a
little alien! I'm going back next week at
18 weeks to find out sex yeah!

I dont get my ultrasound done till im 15
weeks.. So in 3 weeks-ish.. I have the
appointment on the 23rd.. You guys should
get ultrasound pics and show them off..
It would be so cool
