Hi guys,

just wondering if any of you have psoriasis or if you know anyone who does? I have just been diagnosed with it and just wanted to know if anyone on here has been ok with the condition.

At the moment I have had it on the back of my elbows. I don t like it but I think I can live with it there, im just scared it will spread all over my body!

has anyone on here got or had the condition and it has not spred? Or has anyone know someone who has it and it hasnt really affected their life? I have been on some other sites and actual psoriasis forums for the condition but everyone seems to have severe cases.

Also wondering - my dr say you can have flare ups, anyone know how long they usually last?

Thanks guys x

Isn't it a life long disease it'll never go away. It might not flare up but it'll come back. Thats what my doctor told me, its gentic not from bad eating habits like bigman said. I have had psoriasis since I was 7. It started a small spot on the back of my head and spread to the whole back of my head, to the cornor of my eyes, to my elbows ( which cleared up for now but will probably come back) to my arm pit, to actually my pubic area which is really embarrsing espically when I meet a new guy. When someone asks whats wrong wtih my eye I just simply tell them its a skin disorder. Yea I get some weird stares but ive gotten use to it

Psoriasis & Eczema
My best friend has psoriasis. She has had it all her life. She use to use a massive amount of lotion to control it. But a few months ago someone introduced her to a line of products called "arbonne".She said would help it. At first she didn't think it would work but free products why not. When she tried it it did work about a week later it was completly gone. Of course she called all her friends about it. I checked into it & the company says it reduces eczema too. My nephew has severe eczema so I told my sister to try it & it completly cleared his skin up & they spent so much money on steriods that is was crazy. Now she just buys those products regularly...Her doctor was amazed. He is doing some trials now to see if it was just his skin or if others will have this same reaction & he says a few others have noticed the change as well. So I think you can pretty much keep it from coming back but not really sure what it is about those products I just know they don't use any kinds of chemicals at all. If you would like more info just e mail me or go to edit I love this stuff it helped my sister & my friend so much I tell everyone about it.
