I'm New And Would Appreciate Some Advice
Posted: 05-03-06 16:15pm

Hi, i'm tina i'm a 17 year oold female from northern ireland. This is a lng story. 5 years ago I was told I had glaucoma and put on eye drops too control it which worked fine untill october 2005. I have no vision in my left eye. The pressure went up so high and I felt very sick all the time. We tried different eye drops, laser treatment and surgery to remove the lens from the bad eye but that failed to work. I eneded up having an evisceration (removal of the inside but leave the white of the eye) we all thought that the nausea was because the pressure was so high but now the eye is gone and I have my artificial eye in. I'm still feeling sick. It gets worse at night and in the morning. Sometimes I get this feeling that something is running in my stomach at the bottom. It feels like something cold just hitting it. I feel ok when I eat but there's days is bad all day and I can't eat or drink much and there is some nights that I do think i'm going to vomit but I never do (thank goodness) I am waiting to have the camera into my stomach to see if there is anything going on. All my blood tests have been all normal. Have had lots of aunti-sickness tablets/injections but they don't seem to work that well. I'm really fed up feeling like this. I've been on tablets for an uncler to see if they would help but they didn't  everyone keeps saying "are you sure it's not in your head"? But I really don't thiink it is.

Any avdice would be very appreciated!

Tina.
