Q: 7 Weeks And Bleeding

I'm 7weeks along and started spotting and having light bleed around week 5. I've been to the doctor for two vaginal u/s and had blood work done. He said I have formed a blood clot behind my placenta. Has anyone else gone through this? They said i'm at higher risk for a miscarriage or it's just going to be a bumpy ride. In the u/s they found the baby's heart beat and everything looks great in the sack. He called the condition placental abruption. I've been scheduled for u/s every 2 weeks so i'll have plenty of exams to keep an eye on it.
