Bump/belly Button Question
Posted: 05-03-06 10:27am

This might be a dumb question lol..I have my belly button pierced and so far ive left it in cause my bump is still small...However this morning when I woke up I seriously felt like it had gotten much much bigger. It might be in my head a bit lol..But did anyone else have theirs pierced/how long did u leave it in for. And also is it possible for the bump to really grow like that overnight?

And another update. I found a family that I really like who wants to adopt her and they are comming to visit me in a few weeks so I can officially decide and get to know them. They live all the way in california, (im on the east coast)..But they have a gorgous house and both have great jobs..And they have a son who they also adopted 3 years ago who they are bringing along for me to meet so my daughter would have a sibling.

Ive kinda been calling her a name as well (yeah I talk to my belly haha)..Ive been calling her tallie. I think its cute..I told the family that and they thought it was cute as well and said that if they were to adopt her they would work that into her name (maybe not first but middle at least) which I think is cute.

My cousin went her whole pregnancy with her belly button ring in. So I guess it depends on how big your tummy gets I guess. But I wish you a healthy pregnancy.

Wow I really admire you for going through with the pregnancy and adopting your baby to a family who can support her. Kudos!

I know several girls who went through the whole pregnancy, but most of the people I know had to take them out between 20-30 weeks. I know you can just get a piece of fishing line or other plastic string (as long as it isn't woven) and thread it through your hole to keep the hole open. Good luck!

You already know how I feel about adoption, as i've done it myself.

I took my belly ring out just to take it out because I didnt want it getting all weird, it's still pierced though, never closed up!

I took mine out in my fourth month.. Just so I didnt get that big nasty stretch line above my navel. I put it back in right after labour and it was fine, tho this time I prolly wont take it out till 5 months since I seem to be so tiny again.

I had removed belly ring for both my pregnancy's and im still able to put put it back in, my advice though when putting in back put abit of vaseline on the tip of the belly ring and then shove it in its so much easier.

I can leave my ring out for months and put it back in no problems

I took mine out the first time at 24 weeks because the doctor made me too. But what happened was I gained 30 lbs of water weight gain in about5 days and I got three stretch marks right around where it is. I put it back in right after I got out of the hospital. I took it out around 20 weeks pregnant this time. I put it in the other day and it still fits but I wont' wear it because my belly button is starting to poke out.

Kudos on the adoption. I am proud that you are taking that rout. Good for you.

go on www.Naveljewellery.Co.Uk then u will come to the home page there is a big block of purple with all jewellery inside. Click on see full range here.
Then scroll down the page and click on plastic retainers. Then it will take you to another page. Click on navel retainers. There are sum realy nice ones and u can wear them all the way through your pregnancy. And they wont harm you or your baby.
When are you due ? Are you as young as me ?
Good luck reply if possible
