Hi .. This is my first time in this
wonderful site . I am not so good in
english
and I have this medical report ( with my
simple english I think there is nothing
wrong with the patient ) I want to be
certain .. Please help me
specimen : f.N.A from left breast mass
microscopic : the cytological examination
of the slides from a f.N.A of left breast
lump , reveal many clusters and singly
placed glandular epithelial
cells within the normal morphological
limits . Red blood cells are also seen .
No atypical cells seen .
Diagnosis : f.N.A.C, negative for
malignant cells, consistent with a
fibroadenoma, left breast .
Please tell me in easy english what does
it say ?

Hello fjasim19,
the report is saying that you have a
benign breast lump that many women have.
The thing about cells within normal
morphological limits means that there is
nothing abnormal about individual cells.
It is not cancer so you have nothing to
worry about! It's very common in women
over 30 and even younger women get them
(i'm 21 and I found one last year). The
best thing to do is just monitor it
closely to make sure there are no strange
changes. Hope this helps!
