Q: Stopped Taking Ortho Tri...how Long Till Regular Periods??

I've had been take ortho tri cyclen lo for about 7 months until I stoped about a mounth and a half ago....I had a regular period when I was supposed to and everything, now about two weeks ago I had sex twice, and the condom didnt break or anything, but im still very paranoid and im not late or anything becuase I have about a week until I am scheduled to start, but I heard that there is a delayed reaction in getting pregnant after u stop taking bc....So should I be worried or what? Help me please because I have no idea!!!

You can get pregnant immediately after stopping birth control pills... If you used a condom than your chances are low, and that is the best way to go if you do not wanna get pregnant..That or use another type of birth control method.


Going off of the pill can make your periods strange the first few months, you could be later or even earlier when you first go off of the pill.

From what i've heard from other users, many women have this problem. I took a break from bc and my next period was about two weeks late and lasted 10 days. Other people go even longer. I think one woman I read a post from was two months out before her period came.
