Q: Galbladder And Hida Scan

I'm a 43 year old female. For about 2 years i've had a lot of nausea, indigestion, diarhea, and lately - urq pain. One of my liver enzymes is slightly elevated - alkaline phosphatase (114 with high normal at our hospital being 92). I know this can come from bone too, but with all my digestion problems and urq pain, I feel it almost has to be of liver origin.
The problem is, I just had an abdominal ultrasound and hida scan - both completely normal. In a way i'm relieved nothing was found (i know there are no masses or tumors), but i'm also frustrated. I've had two "attacks" of severe chest pain which radiated to my back (thought I was having a heart attack!)

has any one else had a normal ultrasound/hida scan and still had gallbladder trouble?

Thanks!

What was your % on your hida scan? I was told mine was normal then a year later I found out it was abnormal from a different doctor.

Other Testing
I have had right upper quadrant pain for over a year. I work in a hospital so I have access to a lot doctors to ask questions, but still have no answer. I've had the pain, bouts of nausea, and over 10 pound wt loss. That being said, some other tests you may ask for if your HIDA and ultrasounds are negative. MRCP (MRI of the gall bladder and pancreas), MRA of mesenteric arteries (angiogram to rule out a mesenteric ischemia which is rare but possible), EGD (scope of esophagus, stomach, duodenum), Upper GI w/ small bowel series, & exploratory laproscopic surgery. You may also ask for bloodwork to include your ANA & SED rate to rule out an autoimmune inflammatory response (lupus, etc). I've had all of these done, except for a HIDA and EGD which are my next requests. Also a colonoscopy would not be out of question if you haven't had one recently.
