 I have been getting all preg signs, very soar boobs, feeling sick, peeing heaps and hard amdomen, high temp. I went to the doctors today to do a preg test . (i have had 4 m/c so im scared to find out if im preggers that I would just lose my baby again!) well the preg test had a very faint ve line. I went to the toilet , also had a drink before doing the test so my pee was weak. The doctor told me that she will have to read it as a -ve. Wouldn't I be preggers anyway if the line was faint or would it be -ve? I will do another one in the morning I think??

 any one else with similar situation??

Hey, I know how u feel.

The same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago when I went to the doctors, the line was very faint and the doctor suggested I either get a blood test or go back in a week, well I took the faint ive as a positive but got the blood test done anyway. Went back later that day and sure enough im now 7 weeks preg.

As for the other thing, I know how u feel, I only lost twins 8 months ago at 19 weeks so im also finding it hard to get excited, but all we can do is pray for the best I suppose!

Unless you wait several days, the only reliable test will be a blood test right now. Some people say a line is a line, but with my 2nd daughter the urine test the dr took was so faint that they didn't trust it and did a blood test right then and there. If you want to know "for sure right now darn it" then get a blood test.

.The urine test they have is the same as the hpt's you can buy in the store. A blood test would be more sensitive, so if you think it's a false negative, just call the ob today and tell them you took 2 tests where 1 was positive and the other negative. Don't mention anything about the faintness of the first line, ok? .Then tell them you'd like to test in the office today. You shouldn't need an appointment for that. Good luck!
