Hi everyone, im currently 22 years old, 5'7" and about 200lbs. And never really had any past back pain experience.

November of last year I was haveing a few months of very minor lower back pain. From about sept to nov, but nothing too bad. Well I woke up in late november over the course of a few days, and wound up in the hospital. I couldnt even move barely out of bed. Very bad pain when I move my head foward or try to do anything. Well after that I went to a cyropractor with a little bit of relief but still not good. I would never go back there. About mid january I decided to see a ortho-pedic doctor for an mri. He said everything looked fine, just a bit of a bulging disk in the lower portion, nothing bad at all though and sent me to pysical theopy. I went to pysical theory for a few weeks and all was back to semi normal.

We came of with an agreement between my parents and the doctors that it was a bad bed. The bed had failed around july and wasnt supporting me. We then got another bed, same brand, that failed again by dec, january. We then got a brand new bed, a bit firmer in feb. I still get a bit of a pain if im on my feet alot during the day. Minor discomfort. I also lost about 20lbs and plan on losing a bit more.

After feb. Ive been running w/new shoes might I add..I try to run about 3 miles a day, 2 to 3 times a week. (wish it was more often) and recently my middle to upper back, right in the middle, has been killing me after I run. Its not till the next morning that it hurts and hurts for about 3 days after that. Tilting my head foward yeilds the most pain. It doesnt really bother me during my actual run, but that next morning, kills.. After a few days of not running, its back to normal. I run again and it flares up again.

Can somone give me some feedback. Im trying to train for the police acadamy and actually run more often but my back is fighting me at every step.

Thank you,
matt
