I havent been a type 1 diabetic for that long, a few months, but I asked about sexual side effects from diabetes. When I was first taking insulin in the hospital I had no erection for a few days, not even in the morning. Everything works fine now though and the doctor said that you shouldnt experience any problems, my blood sugar was very high at the time so maybe high blood sugar may effect you, I feel crappy when my blood sugar is high so that may be your problem, try testing your blood sugar before you engage in any activity to see if its at the appropriate level.
