Irregular Periods Posted: 01-07-04 23:04pm
I am 26 yrs old, and don't really have
periods on my own. I was on birth
control from the age of 16 until april of
2003 to regulate periods. My husband and
I want to start to have children, but I
never have a period on my own. I was on
provera from my doctor and I had a period
after that. My question is if anyone has
experiance with using natural progesterone
cream to help regulate periods and
ovulate. If anyone can help to answer my
question...Please I want to have children
so badly!! Thanks kj

I havn't heard of it but I am in the same
boat you are. There are some herbs that
will make you ovulate but they are so
strong that you can only take it fot 6
months becuase you have all the eggs you
will ever have , and they make you drop
your eggs (ovulate) more often. Sometimes
even multiples.I will look those up if you
would like.

Hey I have always had irregular periods so
I started using the natural progesterone
cream and it has helped me get a period
every month but I do not think it helps
with ovulation. I just recently have been
diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome
and I think i've had it for a while
because me and my husband have been trying
to conceive for 4 yrs, but hopefully now
something will happen. The first day of
your period you count that day #1 and when
you get to day #12 you start using the
cream. You rub 1/4 of a tsp. On your
body twice a day until day #26 and then
you wait for your period again and
whatever day it is that you get your
period then that will be day #1 and so on.
Hope this helps, natasha
