For a while now, i've been experiencing some abnormal 'symptoms'. I've been to the doctor about them, but my doctor isn't a very patient man, and immediantly prescribed anti-psychotics, and then - when those had terrible, horrible effects that left me in a state of dysfunction - prescribed an adhd medication. I stopped taking that as well after it effected me strangely. They didn't help my problem, either.

To explain: i'd get started on something - writing/typing usually - and i'd lose focus almost immediantly, and divert my attention to something else. For example? As i'm typing this, my head turns away from the moniter so I can look out the window and stare blankly at the scenery, and my fingers stop typing. Or, if i'm typing/writing something else, i'd get a feeling of... I can't really explain it. Lethargy? And i'd put my head down on the desk. It'd take me hours to finish it with force - i'd have to force myself. But while sitting here at the computer, i'm constantly turning to look out the window, losing interest in this.

If anyone could try to pinpoint or hint toward what might be my problem, it'd be very helpful. Thank you.

I was diagnosed with attention day dreaming disorder when I was a young'n, I just used to just go completely off track into my own world. I still can't concentrate on anything but now I have special glasses to help me fixate on what I am reading. I have dyslexia aswell, so it could be a type of learning disability. It sounds frustrating but i'm sure if you see an occupational therapist or someone within that field.

You're Probably a Genius
It is really frusterating. Whatever it is, I feel the same way. Though one reason I use the computer so much is because its a blissful life of distraction for me. Its like I am allowed to just be distracted the whole time. I can't function very well in the real world. It really just sounds like add. Maybe you're a genius and your brain had to work on something really challenging. Use it to solve somekind of problem that regular people can't seem to do. Do you think thats it? That you need challenge?

so u went to see ur doctor and he gave u antipsychotic, I took antipsychotic too for a while then I stopped. I have paranoia thats what the forst and second doctor said but I have to do a brain scan and test so then I can make sure its that but u dont seem in the worse case coz when ur really in the worse case of psychosis, ur brain always have thoughts, u have attention trouble, u look like something is wrong so people can realize it when they look at u. Thats not funny. U dont feel happy neither when ur in the worse case coz psychosis changes ur brain, all is not working normally and u even have sleep problem
