My 10 yr old daughter had kidney stones in feb, after several weeks of on/off pain. She has started having severe pain again on/off. She'll be in extreme abdominal pain, then later be fine. I did take her to the Dr. Just for a urine test, there was no blood. Could this be kidney stones again, with out any blood in her urine. At times the pain is so bad, I thought she was going to pass out. I gave her some of her pain meds from when she had her stones, and it helped her. Please any advice would be greatly appreciated. Anybody out there have stones without blood in urine?

kidney stones
There seems to be a product called Chanca Piedra by Amazon from South America.
Go to Health food store. Also Herb Hydragea root or tinture. If they are'nt to big.

kidney stones
My 11 yr. old was diagnosed with a kidney stone 2 days ago. Still has not passed it, may have to have it removed Mon. or Tues. A lady from where I work told me an old remidy, not sure about it considering giving it a try. Drink nothing but distilled water for three days, but only three days. It supposedly removes all the minerals from your body, and kidney stones are minerals, so it will desolve the stones. She said her father and her husband both have done this and it works. My consern is if you remove the minerals from your body will it hurt you? Minerals are supose to be important to your body, and I don't want to hurt her. Also concerned that if she doesn't pass it or have it removed then we wont know what to stay away from to insure she doesn't get them again. Any advice?

Restore Minerals
Go to a Health food store. You can restore the minerals through a multi-vitamin or a Plain Mineral supplement. Just add to grape juice. And on the distilled water and Braggs apple cider vinegar liquid or caps. It worked for me.

kidney stones
Thanks for the advice. She has not passed it yet, but is not been in any pain for a day now. Does that mean she has past it? I've been told no, that it is just not moving.

Have you been straining her urine to check for the stone?
It is possible she passed it.
Did tell you what size the stone is? If you do get the stone bring it to the doctor to have it analyzed, there are different types of kidney stones.

My heart goes out to you and your daughter, and ANYONE suffering from stones! My wife's been suffering from kidney stones for the past year. She has passed about 8 in the passed year. We are trying all we can to do this naturally. The problem is that she already is "riddled" with the stones as her doctor said...(about 28 could be seen). SO, we just need to make sure these can pass without the crazy pain and suffering, AND that she is making more. It's all about diet. Diet, diet, diet, and water water water!
So, she drinkks ONLY distilled water and has for about a year or more. I heard that you can lose minerals this way etc...but you get so many other minerals everyday from everything else that you consume, that you even out your intake. People that are prone to making stones, cant take all the minerals anyway. And the past year the distilled water really helps. The only think is, the more water you drink, the more you are passing everything through your body. So since you have stones, your moving them.
This brings us to ways on helping the pain, and naturally is the only way we want to do it if at all possible, although she has had to resort to pain killers when it gets so bad she is throwing up and passing out. You can alleviate the stones sharp edges that are dragging through your system with a few things. This is what she has found that help her: apple cider vinegar drink (she hates the taste, but this helps the most (ill explain if anyone ants to hear, just ask), pure olive oil (while stone is on the move), pure fresh lemon, pure organic apple juice. These things all help when passing stones.
For her diet, she stays away from ALL REFINED SUGAR! That means JUICE unless its organic PURE juice, NO ADDED Sugars, Beer and red wine, etc...the worst of enemies, and also, hardy greens, like kale, chard, spinach, and for some reason red meat like burgers, steaks, sausage bother her terribly, even as soon as 2-4 hours later. She has seen no problems with chicken and turkey . Have your daughters stay away from anything that is dehydrating! All the things I mention abouve are rich in minerals and very dehydrating. And do try and catch them and bring them in to be analyzed like Serenity says.
Gotta go to work! be back later! I'll tell my wife to hop online and talk to you guys, she needs this forum! Thanks all!
