I've had two abortions in the past and i'm rather young, I would like to know if anyone out there would have information regarding future pregnancies? I've been told that abortions don't effect future pregnancies but for some reason I don't feel reassured and i'm scared to know the truth if there is one other than what I was told :(

My friend had 2 abortions as well when she was young. Rest assured she's now married and has a 3 year old and is currently pregnant. As long as you keep yourself healthy there should be no problems when the time is right for you.

Hope that helps

Abortions can affect your ability to get pregnant. Talk to your doctor about it.

Every time you have an abortion, scar tissue is created in the uterus where the baby used to be "attached".

The more abortions, the more scar tissue.

Where there is scar tissue the fertilized egg can't implant, thus reducing your chances of getting pregnant.
