Hey yall, my baby just passed a crystal in her urine. She did this once while she was in the hospital. They didn't spaz about it, but it was of a small concern to them. She pee pees but it has an orange tint to it.

She is .Jaundice and I was wondering if anyone else experienced this with their newborns...

Any advice would be highly appreciated!!

Well in the hospital she passed one, and they weren't too concerned with it. They said 'oh she just passed a crystal' and kinda wrote it off as normal.

I was soooo paranoid throughout my entire pregnancy and am trying my hardest not to out do that paranoia now!! Lol....It's just sooo hard not to be paranoid with a 4 day old!!

P.S: she lifted her head all by herself today!!!! These milestones are small, but huge when you think about it!!!

Sarah

you'll notice every single move they make for a year... It's quite funny! You get so excited when your child burps, farts, christian's you with their pee/puke...... Motherhood is wonderful

back to the subject, did you speak to a doctor about it? I have never heard of this, so I can offer nothing.

Yea, I just called her .Dr and I have an appt. At 1:30. Talk about nervous!! She's .Jaundice to boot!!! Lol...It's been raining down here so we can't put her in the indirect sunlight. Hopefully, they'll send us home with a phototherapy light so we can start treatment. They can't keep her because i'm breastfeeding. Them keeping her is my biggest fear!! Lol...Wish us luck..I don't think she's gonna like this too much!!
