Re-tested
Hi, just to be such why don't you get re-tested? That way you would know for sure that the treatment has worked and you'll have peace of mind.

Once you have hpv (human papillomavirus) ie genital warts you carry the virus for ever.
Even if you see no warts at the time you can still pass it on.

There is no cure at present, although there are treatments available for outbreaks of the warts.
Anything can trigger off an outbreak such as stress, flu, illness.

From what i've studied, the claim that you have it forever isn't always true. If your immune system is strong enough, hpv can get out of your system within a certain amount of time. For your sake I would suggest to just get tested again.

Huh...
I had hpv which I caught from an ex boyfriend you do not always come up with genital warts!! Hpv is sooooo common about 80 percent of men and women have or have had hpv!! Even with out knowing it. I had a abnormal pap and came up with it and had early early stages of cervical cancer which I had a coloscopy done. So it isnt always true. Ever since I have had that cervical cancer I go to get a pap smear every three months so getting genital warts isnt always an issue.
