I just wanted to start off by saying that I am totally confused. I have been on birth control for about 3 months roughly. First they put me on ortho tri cyclen lo, and that month I had a period for 2 weeks. The next month I went to the doctor because I had strep throat and I told him about my 2 wk period and he told me that it happened bc it wasnt strong enough, so he changed it to ortho tri cyclen. Everything was going good. Then they changed it to noveum. But my problem is my last period was 5/26-5/31, which is normal. I am sad to admit I had unprotected sex 4/7, 4/18, 4/21. I also forgot to take my pills 4/9, 4/10, and 4/11 I didnt actually take until the next day.On 4/12, I started having what I thought was a period but it only lasted for 3 days. Last week, I was becoming fatigue, dizzy ( to the point I thought I was going to collapse), and my boobs hurt really bad. This weekend it has only gotten worse, even last nite, I felt so nauseous, I went out and decided to get a pepsi to settle my stomach, and when I drunk it a couple minutes later it came up. Today I am spotting a pink color which I can see when I wipe but cant see on my pantyliner. I dont know whats going on, I just wish for someone to help me out a little. Thanks in advance for your comments and for not judging me.

Well I don't know a ton about it but my advice would be to keep taking your birth control pills religiously until you get them straightened out...Like if the new pill is gonna work for you. Also, no preaching here...If you're having issues with it I would use a backup until I got it under control. Just remember...If you're getting sick like that, then you might need to see your doctor and definitely be on the lookout for a period. I would say since you forgot to take a few pills then you have a chance at being pregnant. I'm not a doctor or anything all this is just my opinion..So just let us know how it goes :)

Extremely eHealthy
For the first 3 months or so on birth control it is 100% normal to have wierd spotting and irregular bleeding.....

If you miss a pill, take one late, or are on antibiotics, you will most likely spot or bleed..And it could be heavy like a period.

Anti biotics do decrease the effectiveness of birth cotnrol pills
