It's important that you go to the doctors.
No ifs and buts, just go.

I agree, if you're really concerned, you
need to go. If you're concerned but want
to try to figure it out, there's nothing
that's going to hurt you by eating right.
Try a healthier diet for awhile and see if
you notice any different. It won't cost
you more than what you pay to eat, but you
can't be eating cookies and drinking soda
anymore.

Look at the top of this forum, you'll see
my diet. The test is done typically
between 4-6 hours. You fast, they give
you a 100g sugar drink, and then check
your blood at least every hour, sometimes
half hour. That's it.

Hopefully you got off to bed
well- you shouldn't ignore the pains
necessarily, just understand that it takes
the brain 15 mintues to get the message in
your stomach you have eaten and 10 mintues
for blood levels to be enrich with sugar
as well enough to tell your tummy to calm
down with asking for food.
You will get used to it overtime and see a
pattern form. When your body gets into
a routine. Always remember with eating, at
6am, 10am, 12pm and 3pm your body releases
cortisol, these are times it is imperative
for you to have food in your belly.
If not you will see
symptoms and feel that hungry pain and for
us-food after 9pm is cruical and bed
before 11pm is necessary. Now, those
times may be off an hour for some as well.
Everyones body is different. (i
need food every 3 hours and go 6am,9,11,
4pm and 9pm)

I usually don't get up before 7am most
mornings. So I never eat breakfast before
then.
What I do notice is that like you, I have
to eat at fixed times - immediately upon
arising for the day, 10am for a
mid-morning snack,
12noon for lunch and a snack at 3PM.
Dinner at 5 and a nighttime snack around
9-ish.
If I don't eat at precisely those times, I
develop symptoms and generally feel out of
whack mentally and physically. So it's no
accident that my break times at work are
10am and 3pm and lunch is at noon.
If I've had a really big lunch sometimes I
can skip the 3PM snack or make it fairly
small compared to what I normally eat.
