I have been off of birth control pills for 18 months now. I went off of them because I heard that they could take up to a year to clear your system. My husband and I do want children. It has now been 18 months and no period, no ovulation. If I wait this out will my periods eventually return. Should I be worried? Post pill amenorrhea?????? Has anyone heard of this??? Help!!!

Yes, post pill amenorrhea does exist as does post pill infertility, so get checked out just to be sure & have your oestogen levels checked too.

If all is ok, the problem may just be that you're not relaxing, have a break away even a night out & have a few drinks (just enough to relax you) this has been known to lead to many a birth!!
