Whoever the first person on this thread is, thats ridiculous about the adoption comment. Im putting my baby up for adoption adn that doesnt make me any less of a mother.

i think that comment was a little rediculous.Some people can't have babies and it would be good to give it up for adoption if she couldn't take care of it,i think it's better than abortion. fool.

I got pregnant at 16 and im 17 now and my baby is due in 5 weeks. I am keeping my child and I couldn't imagine it any other way. I dont belive in abortion and if anything for young girls who make the choice to give their child up for adoption I think that is showing them just as much love as you would if you kept them. You are giving them the chance to have a wonderful family that is ready for them emotionaly and finacially. I support adoption and more power to you if you are strong enough to say to yourself that this would be better for my child. = hugs =

Her comment is here opinion and if she wouldn't give her baby up that is fine.

I absolutely wouldn't give a baby up either - even if I couldn't keep it - selfish? Maybe but every one is entitled to their opinion.
Mine is probably releated to my ocd but I know a lot of people that couldn't give a baby up for adoption, same as I know a lot of people who could and I have some very good friends who were adopted and say it was the best thing in their life.

People shouldn't be slated for their opinion, if they are factually wrong and you can show them that thats a different story.
But someones opinion on whether or not to adopt isn't grounds for such a bashing.
