When I wake up in the morning I get this clear-waxy fluid coming out if I stick my pinky in there. I had a bad cold about a month ago and I am currently on nasal spray to help everything, has anyone had this what is it, and is it fluid from inside? Or is it just wax residue build up? Help me please i'm worried

clear fluid
I get it all the time and it smells like belly buttons. I've had it for about 3 yrs and once I ended up in hospital with terrific head pains they tested me for meningitis and cat scan nothing showed and it passed in a day. I went to see my doctor and got very good advice "What do you want me to do about it" he said and prescribed me ear drops I never used them and have never been back since. However I am going tomorrow as it's getting worse. I'll post when I'm back
