Q: Vulvar Dystrophy Or Something Else??? Please Help!!

Last may I noticed that my clitoris seemed sensitive. A few days/weeks later it hurt a lot on touch, whether it being my pants or crossing my legs. So now it's 1 year later and the pain is still there!! The pain has never gone away, it has been very constant!! I have no idea what it could be.

I went to my gyno and she said it could be an external yeast infection. She prescribed medication = didn't work. I decided to see a new gyno and she thinks that it could be vulvar dystrophy. She said that she can see that the skin on the clitoris seems thin and there is a change in color (slightly white). She prescribed an ointment = didn't work. Recently I have gone back to her, she prescribed me an ointment with testosterone. I have been using that for almost a week and can't see any change. She said that if that didnt work she wanted to do a vinegar wash and take a biopsy of the clitoris if necessary in a month.

It's very strange because there have been now outbreaks, lesions, sores, blisters... Just constant pain for 1 year. I have also noticed that when I voluntarily contract my vaginal muscles it feels unconfortable.

I'm not sure if this is related or not, but 2 years ago I was sitting on the couch watching tv and I experienced a sharp pain in the pelvic region directly below the belly button. It went a way, but for the next few days I felt vaginal burning. No abnormal discharge. That has occured once more after that.

I have had tests for:
chlymidia & gonorrhea = negative
herpes = diagnosed with type I (but not type ii)
hiv = negative
all pap smears = normal

any ideas??? Please help!!!

Thank you,

l.
