Thanks yall!! Yea, i'm gonna go natural...Well let me rephrase that being that this is my 1st birth. I'm going to go as far as possible without the use of drugs. The epidural is definately out of the question!!! Yikes!! I'm a puss when it comes to needles!! Hahaha...

I definately feel like i'm about to pop!! I personally think if I can make it another 2 weeks i'll tip forward involuntarily!!!! Haha...Like one of those wobble things you punch and they sit straight back up!!!

I can't wait to see her on the ultrasound on .Wednesday!!! I love ultrasounds! I wish I could afford the 4d ones!!! They kinda spoil the surprise though...

Good luck with going natural, I wanted too but my contraction pain was crazy and I caved the first chance I got and took the epidural, I was totally against them before. Lol if you feel you need one trust me take it they're great (but only if you feel you can't handle it anymore because I totally think it is great if you can do it without drugs) and you really don't feel the needle (probably because the contraction pain is so much worse). Good luck I can't wait to hear your labour story and see pics!!!

hahaha.. Let me tell you, with my first I had no pain meds.. Was in hard labor for 18 hours!!!! My water broke, but he didn't want to come out! Lol..So they enduced me. The 2nd one .. She came right out, was having mild contractions.. My hubby (who was on the phone with me, he was in germany for military) said .. You better go to the hospital, they are 1 min. Apart! So I left right away, (after my first experience, I was waiting for severe pain) on my way there, the contractions got soooo hard.. Got to the hospital, and they didn't even have time to put in an iv.. She was on her way out, the 3rd one, I assume was pretty normal for a birth, he was born in germany, and once again .. Didn't have any meds.. They did give me an enima there though, they said it helps move labor along! W.E.I.R.D!! Anyway.. So then the 4th and final child,, and guess what !! I had an epideral !! I was in heaven !! I thought to myself.. Why in the heck didn't I do this before ?? Lol.. The only thing I felt was extreme pressure when it came time to push! But afterwards, my butt and legs itched sooo bad when the epideral started wearing off, I guess that is a side affect of the epideral.. Anyway.. I guess what i'm saying is ... Later on down the road when you have more children, you might wanna try it ! Haha

Lol...I figure I won't get the epidural and if it's really bad, for the next one i'll relax!!

It's good to see someone who's actually experienced the drug free way of child birth and not discourage it!!

Thanks!!

I was in labour 44 hours with my daughter and was induced through the labour and I had no pain relief at all!!!! I found that my breathing exercises really helped. I told myself I would have no painkillers and if you really put your mind to it you can do it.

Good luck with it all hun.

Sarah, i'm so happy for you!! Kayoni is coming!! Oh, I can't wait to hear how it goes for you. I want to do the same thing, hold off on the drugs unless I absolutely can't bear it...But trust me if I need 'em, i'll take 'em. We're canceling my baby shower though. I have almost everything that I need already and nobody, and I mean nobody rsvp'ed except my family. So i'm telling all my friends that it's cancelled. All I need now are more diapers, some room decorations and the stroller and carseat (i didn't get back to the store to pick up the one I wanted yet). Baby m&m is almost ready to go. My husband is the one in the big rush though, every day he's asking me if I think that i'll go into labor...He's hilarious! if I twinge a little from the pressure or cuz the baby kicked me he's grabbing his cell trying to call people!

I had my 3 kids all natural and they were fine, had quick labors. However I thought id try an epidural this time around after seeing how relaxed one of my friends was during labor. You'll be fine and you can always opt for it later into it if you want to.
