Sleeping In Class
Posted: 04-21-06 15:52pm

Hey,

i have a bad habit of crashing into a snooze sometimes in class all of a sudden. I'm sure its just due to the fact that its usually the class after lunch in the afternoon.. But my questions is:

when i'm snoozing, most times i'm 'brought back' by a pretty good jolt that goes all through my body. Its like all the muscles just spaz for a split second, and then i'm wide awake.

Is this just a normal thing? Or something I should be concerned about.

Thanks,
aw

I too fall asleep in class sometimes. Usually when I fall asleep, i'm trying really hard to not fall asleep and it's like my eyes are closing shut anyway. I usually wake up with a jolt as well. I've seen other students do this too. I think it's because you're in a weird environment, and you also know you shouldn't be sleeping, so when you wake up, it's very agressive. I wouldn't worry about it. Best bet is to try to not fall asleep. I know that can be hard.
