My mother has breast cancer and shes
scared. I want to help her but dont know
how. Im in my own battle right now with
an eating disorder and I want her to focus
on her recovery and not mine. I feel so
selfish for my problem and just want to
help her through hers so I can feel im
giving something back to her sense for 7
yrs now ses been helping me.

Be there for her. Listen to her. What
stage is her cancer? Is she having
surgery? Chemo? Drive her to and from
appointments. Help her shop. The only
thing you can do is let her know she can
depend on you.

You won't say the wrong thing. Not
driving is ok. There are still a million
little things you can do that you won't
think are important but they will be very
important to her.
Chemotherapy is physically tiring and you
could help her by cooking or cleaning.
Making sure she has what she needs within
reach. Even things like hanging out with
your mom and watching movies. Let her
know how much you love her.
