Could this be hypoglycemia when I get I in the morning I feel light headed and dizzy and such. Its like at certain times of the day I feel really light headed and dizzy. I have a history of low blood sugar and thats probably what causes these little symtoms. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what it could be so here I am asking if you think it could be this

Definitely could be it, especially if you'e had a history of low blood sugar. Are the symptoms eliminated or reduced by eating or drinking certain things?

Okay, you probably need to just change your diet a bit then to even it all out. Do you have any other symptoms is or this it? If this is it, simply reducing sugar intake and replacing it with good grain products should make things better in a month or so.

What have you been eating currently? If you tell me I can tell you what changes to make, and it sounds like you'll be feeling better in little time.

The main goal is to find a satisfactory carbohydrate level that produces little or infrequent symptoms. When you find it, stick with it for a period of up to six months, then you can start experimenting with other things. If you can handle grain products, go ahead. Look at my diet for tips.

I Was Wondering If the Hypoglycemia Diet Made You Constipate
Hi all,

i was wondering if the hypoglycemia diet made you guys constipated. Ive noticed that since I have eliminated complex carbs my system is changing.

If you have felt constipated, how have you fixed it?

Are you eating leafy greens? You should be eating plenty of those and that should do the trick. Berries help with this too. However, it depends, are you eating high protein or high fat?

I'm eating varied veggies like 1/2 cup green beans, 1/2 cup asparagus. 1 cup green leafs.

Do you mean I should be eating lots of leaves (as opposed to the veggies I mentioned above?)

today is my 3rd diet on the diet. The first 2 days I started the diet, since my body was so unstable I was eating alot of protein.

Now, I am eating less protein, possible less than 100g protein per day. I am consuming olive oil with every meal, and if a meal doesn't hold me i'll have 2 teaspoons almond butter.

Also, since I just started this diet, i've been eating 2 almonds every hour. I'm thinking of then eating these almonds every 1 1/2 hours, then every 2 hours, as I start to feel better.

Why do you ask about my protein and fat amounts?

Higher protein diets can cause constipation, whereas higher fat diets will not. 100g may be too high for you depending on activity level, but you're eating enough fat it seems so you should be fine. I have leafy greens with every meal on top of the vegetable I eat for the day, as well as berries.

Also, these past three days I have been gaining weight. I actually need to lose about 10 pounds. I have been eating lots of nuts, and nut butters.

Is there a specific type of fat I should be eating or amount, that won't make me gain weight?

I would actually like to lose some weight with this diet.
Please advise.

I actually avoid nut butters because of their carbohydrate content. Olive oil is best for losing weight. The thing about this diet is you have to be somewhat active as well. You may need to cut back on your olive oil a bit. That's one thing I need to work on. On my diet, exactly as it is, I work out almost every day, including heavy weight lifting, 3 hour hikes and so forth. If I didn't exercise i'd probably start putting on the weight.

What is the best fat to eat, to lose weight?

Is this only olive oil?

Are there other fats out there?
(like avocado, or nuts?)

Avocados and nuts are great too, all good fat. Olive oil is probably the best of all for what it does for the body. The only fats to really avoid are things present in foods you can't even eat anyway.
