I dont know if this makes me vain or pathetic or what but...
I am 35 weeks pregnant (yay!) and this past week I have been noticing something that makes me really sad :( my ass (which my bf has always said was super cute) is becoming covered by stretch marks! And I dont mean those white practically invisible ones (i already had several of those from way back) I mean those dark red ones! They are each about an inch long and they are going in every direction and they are .E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E.
Basically, I can never wear a bathing suit in public again! I dont get it...I am a petite girl and I dont have a single one on my tummy or anywhere else, just my bottom :(

Bleh your lucky I would rather have my stretch marks on my butt then my tummy...I didn't get a single stretch mark till 35 weeks and then they spread like a nobodies buisness.

they're so deep that you can feel them through my shirt. Yucky! I know they'll fade but i'll never have a nice tummy again. I love my daughter and she was .T.O.T.A.L.L.Y worth it, but it really would have been nice to have her and not have to ruin my body while I was at it. Oh well. I'm learning to live with it.

Cocoa butter and vitamin e cream - even better get a cocoa butter that has added vitamin e.

You will be suprised at the difference it makes to your stretch marks.
Stretch marks are caused when the skin loses it elasticity or when the skin expands faster than it can grow.

Also if you can get bio-oil where you are it is absolutely amazing stuff.

Avon makes a lotion that will help with stretch marks like that. I sell avon and it realllly does work. It's called super shape from avon solutions. It should make a difference in only 2 weeks. It's about 20 dollars a tube, but the statistic's say that 76% of women notice a difference in 2 weeks, and 93% see a difference with continual use. It's a lot cheaper than that stuff you find in the stores, and this will work too. You can probably get it on ebay.

honey, join the stretched out club!! Haha!! I know exactly what you mean!!! Being that I do skin for a living, I can assure you that they'll fade just as your other one did. It might take a while being that these came sooo quickly, but trust, they'll 'poof be gone!'
you should feel lucky, I was very very petite and got them everywhere...I did gain 60 pounds though. My belly's gonna be like a deflated balloon after birth!! Grrr....Talk about a blow to the ego huh?!?! And they spread like friggen wild fire!!!!!

Well the whole cocoa butter thing...I dunno bout it. Ive had it and used it once a day and I really dont know if it does anything. Ive heard that basically its all up to your genetics and that no cream can save you in that case. Then again maybe applying it once a day isnt enough. Who knows!
How come all those celebrity moms look perfect w/no stretch marks after kids?

exercising doesn't hide stretch marks though, celebs have a lot of monkey so in my opinion they probably get some good stretch mark cream!!!!!

hahahah....At the 1st ultrasound at about 22 or 24 weeks he said it was a boy. I didn't believe him, so I paid for another 'gender determination.' at 27/28 weeks and he said it was a girl. Soooo, it's about 50/50 right now.

He was sooo positive about both sexes. But more positive about the girl. I have another ultrasound on .Wednesday so i'll find out .F.O.R .S.U.R.E then. I hope it's a girl cuz we painter her room pink and put sparkles on the ceiling!!!

Everyone I meet insists that i'm carrying a boy, but I beg to differ!! Lol...Literally.....Beg.

Sarah, I bet your gonna have a girl. It's more common to mistake a girl for a boy because of the umbilical cord, and I believe sometimes their little "package" hasn't dropped yet (that's what i've heard, I could be wrong tho)
my cousin was told she was having a boy, and she had a girl. And I haven't heard of anyone expecting a girl and have it come out as a boy. Not that it isn't possible, but less likely! Good luck!
