Really Long =( Need Some Tips
Posted: 01-06-04 20:48pm

I know alot of you are younger than me and already have children. I am twenty and so is dad he will be 21 in april. The thing is I work at an inhome daycare making 7.50 an hour under the table no benefits or anything and dad is at an unstable job. Our plan is by the end of this month, to move in with his mom ouch! I cant stand her and save all of our money while dad tries to find like a 40 hour week job and me still at the daycare as long as I can so that we can find an apartment we now rent someones basement for 400 a month and all the other bills and do just fine. I am just worried like it's way more expensive for a regular apartment and with the economy so bad I worry he might lose his job. Also babysitting when I want to go to work. My family isn't supporting us about having this baby they'd be much happier with an abortion but screw them anyway they are like an hour away from me and also my mom died in 2001 so I dont have her and his mom is a severe alcholic in which that case she'll only get to see the baby when we are visiting. I am just so scared because we really have noone. My sis had her first when she was 17 and u wont believe this , the dad was only 14!!!!!!!! But they have 2 boys 8 and 10 and they are still 2gether and have a wonderful family and they had noone either . Sorry its so long but I know you all have been there done that I need you all my family just tells me how much I will struggle and that my man will leave me(aint worried about that. Very much inlove and he seems happier to be a parent that me lol) anyways i'll end this before I turn it into a book! Lol ~ erica.

Moving in with them might be a good idea to save money and all that.... I have a friend that is doing that now so they can try to get a house.... As far as yall I think yall will do just fine.... Just give things time it will all work out and im sure once u have the baby there will be plenty of people there to help you out with the babysitting part..... And dont worry what other people say or think.... You know whats going on and what everyone else thinks doesnt matter..... But I really do I think yall will do just fine its a lil hard everynow and then for everyone but you can work thru it and get past all that..... And maybe if he finds a good enough job if wanted u could just quit n stay at home with the baby when it gets here or continue to work.... I mean its all in what you want..... Not what anyone else wants.... I know the money situation is hard and prolly will get hard a lot of times but ull do fine!!
Goodluck and hope the best for ya!

Ok. What do I have to say about this. I got one, been there done that. My mom is a nut!! I had to leave my home with a 2 month old baby, because my mom lost the house and car to crack. My boyfriends mom wouldnt take us because she is money hungry and doesnt care about anyone but her precious daughter. She gets money from the state for her, that is the only reason. We recently went to visit her and it was no good, she was always out drinking and didnt spend anytime with us. The hosue was dirty and itwas just a mess. I think that you need to do something else, that is not a good environment to bring a baby into. Have you thought about asking the state and asking for some type of assistance? There is a thing called hud. I mean I know that a lot of us dont wanna be "welfare cases" but I think that it is better than begin stuck in a messy situation. I am on wic, and it is the best thing ever!! I hope that everything works out, and I dont that you understand where I am coming from. I am here for you if you need me. I also have aol mesmerizeu16!! Talk to you soon!!

Thanks mes. Yeah we plan on bein out be4 the baby is here but I get so stressed just thinkin about it all. By the way, what is a hud?? My worker said I am eligable for ebt food stamps w/e and wic and I also have medicaid that makes me feel a lil better since I can use it for a while till I go back to work about 4 months after the baby is born and when I can help daddy out I can get off its just where we live now , paying rent and bills and all, there are rules and we cant bring a baby into the home due to some contract stuff anyway lol by payin so much here, we would not be able to save enough money for another place like an apartment be4 the baby is here so we have no choice but to go to his "mommy's" Crying
or Very sad like I said thx again and ill talk to ya soon :d ~ erica.
P.S. Baby is due end of august

Hud is low inome housing, they like find a way to get a nice house for a low monthy price...It is pretty good.. I have heard good reviews. I dont know all the much about it, but I seen it and I have friends who are on it. I was on the medical card and dint have to pay for anything, I am on wic which helps but I still must buy formula, and I dont recieve foodstamps...I dont know I think that if you stop bby the clinic or whatever that they should haves ome fliers. It is becoming pretty big, or what about living in low income housing?? I bet you could qualify, if you or the person you are living with is over 18 or emancipated...
