You posted this question a while ago, so I dont know if you'll get this but... There is, its called fasting, this is usually done for anywhere from a day to a week, basically, all you drink is water, for the amount of time you choose, it is supposed to cleanse your system of impurities, most people do this if they are planning on eating healthy after the fast, sort of a way to have a clean slate. You can find a lot of information on it, just type "fasting" in a search engine! I have tried fasting, and it is not the easiest thing to do, it lasted for about 3 days before I just couldnt do it anymore, it made me weak, obviously b/c food is our energy source, I did not drink only water though, I drank 2 bottles of juice a day (v8, v8 splash).... My advice would be to do a lot of searching on it before doing it, and even though it can be done for a week, I dont think I would do it for anymore than 48-72 hours... Also, some things I read said that fresh fruit could be eaten if the hunger was strong, so that would probably be your best bet, drink lots of water, pure veg. And fruit juices, and eat fresh fruit, this way your body is not so deprived of nutrients, of course after eating it's not tech. A "fast", I think then it goes into "detox" dieting... Anyway, dont just take what I say...Read lots of info!
*sorry so long
