I hate insurance companies! My husband was in an accident last week and the lady that was at fault, her insurance is taking us for a ride! They keep calling us to get the police report for them and take the car to them to make an estimate....Which they know the car is not in driving condition! They are stalling and they say they aren't sure if they can cover it, because according to the lady my hubby had hit the car in front of him before she hit my hubby. Which is .B.S! Ugh. First off, the lady that hit my hubby lied to the cop, and her insurance company. It was a 3 car pile up, caused by her. My hubby slowed for traffic as did the guy in front of him, and the lady behind my hubby was on the phone and smacked right into the rear of him, pushing him into the guy in front of him. The back end is all messed up. The bumper got pushed down to where it's hitting the back tires and in front there is a deep hole from the trailer hitch on the other guys vehicle. The back is much worse than the front, my hubby had his breaks on when she hit him to begin with but stepped even harder to try and avoid hitting the guy in front of him. But anways, the lady got the ticket. Not my hubby, or the other guy. So I don't see how her insurance won't pay. Any insurance people out there that could shed some light on this? Thanks for listening!

You just got to be tough against them sometimes. They can be real d*cks so just stand your ground. Why are they calling you anyhow?Aren't they suppose to be calling your insurance company?

that's exactly what my dad said. They all advertise they take care of the claims, and speak with the other insurance company. But they have yet to be in contact with each other. That's their job, isn't it? They piss me off. They keep calling me, so everytime I see their number on the caller .I.D i'm tempted not to answer. Then on the other hand I want this to get resolved so we can get the car fixed. Tho we think they are going to total the car and we'll have to get a new one.

Carrie, thanks....Yes my hubby is fine. His shoulder was sore for a couple of days because of being jerked around by the seat belt, but he's all good now.
