I was going back and reading old posts, and I found a fairly recent one of yours - you were asking the ehealth girls whether or not we thought you should ttc again. I was furious to read what allie said. How dare she call you irresponsible and stupid for wanting to get pregnant at sixteen when you underwent the hardest thing a parent a through. I didn't want to drag this up for a fight, but I just wanted to tell you that I admired the way you dealt with losing your son, and I think you are one of the the strongest girls here on ehealth. I agree with michelle...No baby will replace dylan. And before you ttc, make sure you sit down with your husband and have a long talk about what this baby will mean to you. But I definitely think that when you're ready for a new baby, you should go for it. I can tell that you are mature, responsible, and loving, and if you decide it's the right thing to do, those who love you on this forum like so many of us do will be here supporting you all the way.
I think you are totally sweet, and you will be a great mother. I wish you all the luck in the world.

I think it's a bad idea for her ttc again.

If I had lost a baby the last thing I would want was another baby to be worried about all the time, and to wonder if this & if that..

hmmm...I'm sorry...But I just wonder...If you really didn't want anyone to argue with you over this...Then why not just send a pm to carrie??? Making this a public topic is just asking people to get involved.

Thanks guys, I don't mind people talking about it and giving their honest opinions (like dalicia did) as long as they don't get b*tchy about it like allie did in the old post. I respect everyone's opinion on here and would really like to hear 'em whether they be what I want to hear or not. Just be nice about it :)

obviously you're really stupid, I didn't say anything like that in my post, and if you're gonna be a little cow about it then kiss my fat a$$.

I'm sharing my opinion, and personally if I had lost a child like I said in my first doing it post then I wouldn't want another baby so soon, because i'd be scared, scared that something would happen to him/her.

Don't put doing it words into my mouth and make me out to be something i'm not.

Kthanx

Carrie I wasnt trying to be health forum in that old post. I just think its a shame that you're only 16 years old and all you want to do with your life is get knocked up and be a mum. It was awful what you must have gone through, but you have a lot to offer, you could be anything or do anything in life you want. So you should go for it. You're only 16, theres plenty of time to have kids in the future, why be tied down so young. Thats all I meant.

I think you should do what you want to do.If you feel like you want to have a kid,get pregnant! But like others have said I would wait until you are over dylans passing so your not doing it just to fill a void or something. . .

I don’t mind if everyone gets involved. I just don’t want this to become about me, or about allie. This is about carrie and how I support her. I’ve stated my opinion. I just wanted to tell her what I said above.
Again, good luck, carrie. :)

Thank you guys for all your words etc. You've been great. Opinions are good - everyone's intitled to them as I have said before... Part of why I asked in the first place was so I could make an informed decision.

Why didnt you just send her a pm. If you didnt want this to be abotu allie why mention her and how dare she said what she said. I dont agree with it either but your the one always saying how people need to get over old stuff. Like how im suppose to get over how you tricked me. Why not just pm carrie. It dont take much sense to know starting this will cause people to argue cause allie will defend herself, people will argue back with her, she will argue back with them so on and so forth.

I didn't send her a pm because this wasn't just about what I think, it was about all of us supporting her and giving her advice. Again, I don't want to make this about me. When I said I wasn't looking for a fight, I just meant I wasn't picking a fight. I'm well aware that there will definitely be some controversy with this subject. And i'm okay with that, as long as nobody judges anyone else by their opinions.
