Little Confused..and Anxious..
Posted: 04-17-06 09:06am

Ok well ...A few days ago my bf and I had sex but only for about 30 seconds...And that happened twice. I'm on birth control and I havent missed a pill. I started a new pill 2 months ago that seems to be making my periods come earlier and shorter. Well yesterday was the first day that I took the "inactive" pill and I had a few spots of blood later that evening. And that was about it...Do you think i'm pregnant and that was implantation bleeding or do you think my period will come on full blown within the next few days? I'm kinda confused...Some advice would be great right now...Thanks

Wow I seriously doubt you are pregnant.

Changing pills can affect your cycle but if you have taken it without fail for a minimum of 7 days then you should be safe.

And if you only had sex a few days ago then it would be too early for implantation bleeding and the time scales are all wrong for it as well.

But if pregnancy is such a no go then I suggest you use coondoms as well as the pill because both methods are only about 98% effective when used 100% correctly.

Nope, not preg. At least, i'd be extremely surprised if you were. My period does the same thing on the pill - I get it early sometimes, late others. You don't need to get your period on the first day of your inactives. I'm sure your period will pick up, if it hasn't already.
