Hi there! 15 weeks is ok but is is your
choice and yours alone. Have you thought
about adoption?
The best to you!

Abortion at 15 weeks is very safe, you are
early second trimester, and it is
rountinely done!
I have helped perform many 12-16 weeks
abortions and they all went smoothly.

No at 15 weeks they use suction, only
later do they need to use forcepts..Like
17-18 weeks. All abortions use suction,
but they sometimes need to use forcepts to
make sure they get the placenta and other
tissues out..But suction is used.

Ummm she doesn't need propaganda to make
her feelbadly.
If she was 26 weeks and wanted to
terminate because she felt fat, it is her
perogative.. This is a suport board, her
reasons are hers alone, and none of your
concern.

Are you in newcastle in the uk? Just
wondering, here's the nhs information on
abortion procedures
http://www.Nhsdirect.Nhs
.Uk/articles/article.Aspx?Articleid=1&
sectionid=11009
if you are in the uk then it'll be carried
out under general anaesthetic. Ignore
what your friend has been saying, people
often exaggerate about abortion
proceudres, usually when they are
misinformed or have another agenda.
Whatever you decide this has to be your
choice.. There is support available for
after an abortion (and also support if you
decide not to have the termination).

Nightangel, that's not appropriate in this
forum, it's the abortion support forum so
lets not go into questioning why one
method is different to another. She's
clearly having conflict in her life at the
moment, lets try to just be supportive.

Moo I agree in giving her support and part
of supporting her is making sure she is
making the right decision regarding her
abortion. I feel she is not 100% sure
she wants an abortion and it has been said
here many times that if you are not 100%
sure then better not do it. I'm sure you
don't want that she lives the remaining of
her life with regret (which can include
suicide attempts, depression etc).
That's all

I agree entirely, no-one should have an
abortion unless they are 100%. I'm
pleased she's asked for advice though,
hopefully she'll make the right decision
for her.

I too agree. This is a support forum,
not a debate forum, she has her reasons
for being here and we are here to respect
them. We are here for you. Please do
not forget to ask for help afterwards even
though you should not have to ask their
are times they forget to ask you if you
need or would like help after the
procedure.
The best to you!

Im 19, and yeah I live in newcastle united
kingdom, ur right I aint 100% sure its
hard as im 50-50... Jus that I want my
life. My life now is so far from how it
was before, my head all over the place, I
jus want my old life back. I do love my
baby, but jus isnt the right time. I do
feel bad, u can all judge me I dont care,
so much has happend in my life,. I have
2year old brother there to remind me what
kids are like, I love him loads, bt my mum
is depressed at mo, and I have made worse
by been pregnant, and im stressed, cause
my bf wont support me through this
pregnancy, he wants us to buy house and
then maybe in 2-3 years when we have
traveled world and seen things, and
actually lived together n married then
have baby, I do feel the same. This baby
wouldnt be loved by its dad, and wont have
a dad, and I dont really want to be single
mum at all. I was carfull was on the
pill. And its all the wrong time, I mean
my stepdad is in the army, and my parents
can move anytime, and I would be alone
with no family in newcastle.
