I currently have a yeast infection but have to wait until I see my doctor (tuesday) before I can treat it because I am 7 weeks pregnant. I have had yeast infections before but never this severe. I am having pain in my vagina and am not sure if it is the yeast infection or something else. I have never had this pain before. I only feel pain when I get sexually aroused. It is so severe that intercourse is out of the question. It is like a throbbing pain. It goes away a few minutes after I orgasm. Anyone ever experience this? If so what caused it? Thanks!

I 2 had a slight yeast infection which I found I when I went 2 one of my ob/gyn visits. I got treated for it which I thought that the inflamation from it was what was causing the pain during intercourse, but I still have pain during intercourse so I don't know what really causing it now. The weird thing is that it only hurts around the insides of my vagina other then that I don't feel any pain. I've read that yeast infections can b spread from partner to partner so make sure once you get treated so does ur partner. Hope this helps!
