When I was 18 I was dianosed with
keratoconus.

i had it in both eyes but it was much more
rapid growing in my right. I had my first
cornea transplant in 2002. My left eye
was done in 2004.
Ok here is the problem. I wear these gas
peramble lenes and they are massivley
uncomfortbaly. Anyways in november I put
a old lens in because I lost a newer one.
Since than the eye surface has hurt (eye
pain behind/inside the eye too, most on
surface.) I have been to 3 othomologists
including my aunt whom is one. Ok they
have checked my pressure (its fine), no
signs of cornea rejection, and I had a
xray mri to see if I had sinus
problems...None.
The eye has no abrasions and I wore a
contact band-aid on my cornea for 2
weeks...Nadda. These top doctors have no
clue why my eye hurts. There is no reason
after 6 months for this pain. It has
affected my life greatly. I have had all
the tests eye looks fine they say. (no
glaucoma etc, no pressure, no abreasions
eye looks great) no sinus problems...
Can anyone help? I know you may be
thinking of iris pains but I think they
could see that. Any help would do. Guys
really desperate.
