Hi...Ive had heavy periods for close to a year..With severe cramping..Gynocologist did a hysteroscopy and d&c and removed some polyps...Its been a month and im still cramping and bleeding on and off,,even when I pass stools the bleeding starts and is heavy. I dont see my doctor till august. Is this normal? I know the uterus needs time to heal. Has anyone gone through this and how long for the uterus to heal? Acinominophen doesnt seem to help the pain and I can't take anything with asa.......... Thanks

I had multiple polyps removed from my uterus just last week in an outpatient surgery. I had some spotting and very light cramping that day, and for the next two or three days, I had light spotting and some mucus discharge, but now that has all stopped and hasn't bothered me a bit. I suggest that you contact your GYN.
