Hi, i'm new hear and have already found some comfort in reading other posts. I've experienced anxiety and panic attacks off and on throughout my life but over the past couple years i've been in a grieving process/midlife restructuring and that with adrenal fatigue the symptoms are back full-force and I am in need of some reassurance right now. I know having a tight throat is a common symptom but lately mine is so bad that it feels like something is pushing into my windpipe with unrelenting force and when I turn my head side to side it cuts off air further. Is that familiar to anyone? Also, a pressure-like sensation in my head and nose that feels like it will explode along with a profound feeling of suffocation. When I sit down or lie on my back it makes it worse and the only semi-relief I have is laying on my side. Also, lots of air from my abdomen when all this happens. This has become all consuming and makes me feel like i've entered into a nightmare. I would love to hear from anyone who can relate and is there anything that has helped besides working on relaxation and letting time pass? (i love claire weeks work)
thanks for your support, anita
