Q: Could This Be Something to Worry About?

For a couple of months now i've been noticing bumps appearing above my penis, none have exactly gotten on it but they have all been above it. I decided to stop shaving my pubic hair and see if they would go away but they have multiplied and some are in clusters. When I pick them they bleed. Can they still actually be genital warts even though they aren't on my penis or genitals, just above it in the pubic hair? I have had my share of unprotected sex so I guess i'm a little concerned. I don't currently have a doctor and probably wouldn't have the time to go to one so I was asking on here.

It could possibly be genital warts. About the only way to know for sure is if you see a doctor. They can be removed. Take care of yourself.

They can be removed.. But my fiance is still at risk even after, we have already been having sex a year before this had shown up.

The health department is usually pretty rude too.. They wouldn't give me an immediate appointment, they'd make me wait months.

I would try a cheap clinic-look in the phone book. If you go to a university a lot of these test are free. I'm a emt and I know some places rip people off...Big time. They will charge you four hundred bucks for all test but keep looking and there should be no months on end of waiting. I think you should get tested and get every thing tested. Syphilis is making a big come back and aids. Even when you are with one person you should go get tested once a year and let your partner know the dangers they put you in when they stray!!!!
