Can This Actually Be Demonic Possession? Posted: 04-12-06 23:21pm


I'm new here, and I was wondering if anyone ever thought schizophrenia might just be demonic possession. I hear voices in my head when i'm trying to sleep at night and all day long aswell. If there's music playing or if any sound is blocking out the voices I can still hear them coming from the music and other sounds. This drives me insane...These voices talk to me all day non stop, specially this one female voice who never shuts up. There's 3 main voices that talk persistently and they call themselves reptilians, they say they're demons sent to destroy my life and soul, apparntly they want me dead. These reptilians could actually be them 'serpents' fom the bible i've read about, sounds nuts but you never know. I looked these reptilians up on the net and almost caca myself when I found a load of websites related to them. If this sounds to crazy, go look them up on the net...Supposedly their aliens. I feel nuts typing about this crazyness but it's I just wanted to know if anyone else can actually converse with the voices they hear. Like...You ever get fed up and tell 'em to shut the fk up? That's when they started talking back to me. sigh* anyways...I'm convinced i'm possessed by these "demons" and they're here to drive me insane till I hurt myself or commit suicide. Heh, if i'm not crazy and they're actually reptoids, then them things are real and let me tell you, they are ugly as hell! You can find some pics on the net, if anyone is familiar with david icke you know exactly what i'm talking about. He's a researcher and knows more about these reps than anyone else. You can check out watcherfiles.Com, this has the most info on them imo. Sorry if I weirded anyone out, I must sound completly nuts here but I bet there's others out there that believe in possession aswell but don't wanna post about it and sound like a commited nutcase. If anyone is familiar with this kinda thing plz respond....

I read your question on ehealth and I wanted to say don't worry, my boyfriend also hears voices regularly, has done for years, and at first he used to hear people telling him they wanted him dead, that they were from the devil etc. It is common in schizophrenia, and I can't tell you whether you are being attacked spirtually by demons (which can happen , as i'm a christian I do believe that people can be afflicted by demons, and that prayer to cast them out if done with sensitivity to the person's state of health can help). But the brain is such a complex thing and I think any christian has to be careful with people with mental health problems in assuming that this problem and that thought must be straight from the devil. Schizophrenia and other similiar illnesses cause irrational thoughts and a distorted world in a person's mind, i'm not saying you must have this illness, ; the thoughts you expressed though are very similair to my boyfriends. Please please don't hurt yourself because of the voices, even if they are not directly from an evil source, the devil wants people to hurt themselves and as I tell my boyfriend you have to try to look to postivity and not let the darkness overcome you. There is help out there, getting help from friends and people who have similiar problems or family is important, don't let yourself get isolated even if you feel bad. My boyfriend is on medication which has taken his hallucinations away, and he's thinking of therapy as well, like cognitive. Also because we're christian we're looking for some prayer ministry, but the main thing is that whatever a person is going through whether spiritual, physical, mental etc. I know from experience that god cares and has helped me a lot in some amazing ways. He made you and knows where the problem lies, and having a personal relationship with him is where a lot of healing comes from. If you're not christian maybe that sounds like stuffing god down your throat, but i'm not trying to do that. Faith doesn't have to be like joining a cult, it's having trust in jesus , and it is true that if there are demonic forces afflicting you or anyone, he is stronger and they can be got rid of in his name. But if anyone does prayer with you, they should take into account your mental health, and there could be many factors contributing to your state of mind. If you've been through emotional traumas in your life this can cause feelings of demonic prescences. I used to feel this and I think a lot of it was due to anger about abuse I suffered. I hope I haven't written too much, and I hope it's consoled you a bit. Don't worry there is help, and remember that the voices aren't real , and you don't have to fear that something or someone will harm you. It may help to read some of the consoling things jesus said in gospel of john he gives peace, because he's there for you, :wink: best wishes- brig

I Suffered From a Year Long Bout With Schizophrenia Posted: 06-11-06 15:07pm


When I was 16 I played around with a ouija board and one of the ghosts I was talking to suddenly began to talk to me in my head. He would sometimes control my body and I would move around and act irrationally. I would follow what he told me to do. Eventually he told me he was an 'angel' and then 4 more voices came to me, each of them angels, giving me names, azrael, raphael, gabriel, michael and lucifer. They all had a unique personality and all had a personal appearance they described. I started to occasionaly see them. I would laugh and react to what they said and my parents locked me up. After 3 weeks in the mental ward I was let out because I feigned a recovery to pursue "obeying" the voices. But the first week there, I was publicly undressing myself as the angels asked me to, saying, " this will prove your faith." they gave me tests, and I would do what they said. At one point I tried to break out and run onto the rooftop and throw myself down and they said I would fly away to heaven. I was caught on the stairwell and they secluded me in a room called the "quiet room", which had a tiny window with a camera watching me to make sure I don't hurt myself. They sedated me with a shot. The doctors tried numerous meds and none worked. I felt physical sensations like wings being ripped out of my back and sprouting, and I grew convinced I was pregnant and carrying the antichrist as a strange lump in my thumb, and it was getting weirder and weirder. I also started to believe I would not stop gaining weight if I drank water so I stopped drinking or eating and lost nearly 30 pounds, and of course this led to a consecutive hospitalization in which I was ready to die because I would believe some horrible piece of nonsense for a few months, then i'd learn it was false and i'd feel horrid. By age 17 I had stopped taking any meds because the side effects were making me sicker. I do not reccomend this, it rarely leads to good. I was crazy for a while still but then by the summer of '05 when I turned 18 it all went away. I think that demonic possesion is not possible. My case sounded a lot like some kind of bizarre godly intervention at times and at points people believed I might have been possessed, but repeated visits with a priest and blessings of the house did nothing. In the end, it went away on its own but though the schizophrenia is in remission and it might have been a one time episode, I am still at risk. Now here's a word of advice. You are not possessed, it is humiliating to endure all the nonsenese the church puts you through if they think you are. In the long run, the illness takes on a bizarre form that mocks you and tries to make you not treat it. Do not let other people that are sick convince you otherwise, you need meds and help and I hope yours fades with time so you can go on to lead a normal life as I have done.

Powerful story and I am glad you have written. I agree that the church can add pressures and I also agree that medication can also help the symptoms as most western medicine does. I also know that medicine does not treat a "cause". I have seen many live a life of "normality" using medication while I have also seen others be completely restored by the right hand of the christian god and no longer require medication. I have also seen spiritual problems being diagnosed as medical disorders so I must keep this in perspective at all times. I have seen church efforts be spent in vain because they were not properly equipped or educated in exactly how to deal with this particular side of the spiritual realm; as most doctors even fail in this area. I have seen many that thought they were possessed but really were under severe demonic attack (which can also be healed by god). Your case was a perfect example of demonic attack, and demonic attack can seemingly vanish for "no reason" then remiss and return. It is the nature of the spiritual realm to operate in such a manner and the spiritual world does affect the physical. I have experienced that when god heals by getting to the root of the cause, it problem does not return like in western medicine because the problem has been completely removed from the root. That is the difference I have found between western medicine and jesus. Since doctors truly don't understand the root of the spiritual problems or even care to believe that this variable exists, they simply keep pumping patients full of suppressants to reduce their symptoms: a migraine headache is not caused by a lack of aspirin and a tight muscle is not the result of a lack of muscle relaxants. Simply fix the root of the problem (blood flow to the brain or a muscle strain) and you will address the root of the problem and the symptoms will no longer arise. If you only treat the symptom and not the root of the problem it will always return. Quite frankly it does not matter if you believe that the muscle is torn, the symptoms will still be there. Now, I do not advise going off of medication if you are on any (symptom suppression helps) however there is a larger picture that needs to be addressed if you want to rid yourself of the root of this problem. I have experienced true and complete healing in my life through god from my past demonic afflictions or "medical disorders" (if I wanted to follow the western medicine habit of titling symptomatic problems). I must say that yes, some people can be truly possessed as I have experienced. Prayer can heal in those cases and many other cases as I have also experienced if the person is prayed over and anointed correctly. The failing of the church in this area is not a result of a lack of god but quite often a lack of skill and direction at times :). The roots of schizophrenic "disorders" run deep and quite often healing can be take time. Many people give doctors years of chances to help fix them but only give god one chance over one day of prayer. Be careful of this mistake because quite often complete healing of this kind can be a journey and I must say again that god does heal these problems as I have experienced. Just give him the same patience, effort and time you show toward western medicine and you will be bound to find the right track over time. There are many healing ministries dedicated to healing demonic attack as such and they are in part what healed me personally. My education in the spiritual world over time also played a major role. It takes time effort and patience to win this battle. Even though western medicine is great at hiding symptoms or suppressing actions through medication, the true cause of many of the things that are classified as a "medical disorder" can have solid roots in spirituality and until those roots are handled, the patient will never find true deliverance from the difficulty that afflicts them. Hello, yes!! All scizophrenia is possession. Probably around 70% of people are influenced by other entities; they just aren't aware of it, because nothing is taught about other worlds. Of the possessing entities; some are demons; most are discarnate souls, hanging around after death, trying to find an outlet on earth. I'm clairvoyant, and in every case i've known of so-called scizophrenia, voices, etc, the soul was being attacked by another being trying to gain possession of the personality and physical body. It might interest you to know that 'normal' people are often used, too; they're just not so aware of it. The "schizophrenic" is always a very sensitive, open, usually kind and perceptive person. This is why they are easy targets for deceased beings, since they're pretty loose and 'open'. However, for another being to get in, and affect you, there has to be something like it inside you. Otherwise it cannot get access, or will be quickly ejected. So, although you cannot remove your sensitivity, you can work on yourself to remove whatever 'hook' the being is using. Remember, it just cannot carry on staying with you, unless you resonate with its' energy in some way. You don't need to be perfect, just try very hard to focus on the good. Eg, if you feel angry, think kind thoughts. If greed or envy is your weak spot, try to develop the opposite qualities. The worst thing is cruelty or hatred. If there are any 'dark' feelings, you'll attract a corresponding being. This may sound strange, but after 40 years' experience, I know it's true, and hope thinking on this helps someone. Schizophrenia is just a label which bemused doctors stick on people when they have no idea of the truth, as they can't see into the spiritual & astral worlds. Go to a psychiatrist for more help. It's not demons, because they don't exist. It may be a problem that medication and counseling from a professional could help. Btw, stay away from new age authors and all that. That won't help.

I thought your writing was interesting, was looking for family and this looked like something interesting, but I couldnt tell. I thought that the david icke "children of the matrix" had the chapter, "the shapeshifters" of spiritual of appearance of a spiritual thing - I thought since spirit says "things will be written" I thought that I was finding things in music that family of spiritual was influencing things of music. With schizophrenia, you can't tell the difference between your imagination and the real world. Your fantasy becomes your reality. So if you believe its demons posessing you, then it really is, but only for you. Just between me and you though, there's no such thing as demons.

i highly suggest you read the bible, they are very real, discarnate beings and demons exists, just because you can't see them or don't "believe" in them does not mean they don't exist Exclamation

the bible is god's word on the truth, please don't make the same mistake that many people make on not truly having the knowledge of the bible (god's word on the truth), as god, said my people will perish for the lack of knowledge, and will be deceived by demons in the end times.

The medical world (i.E. Pharma companies, doctors don't get paid to study or produce products for people that have "spirits" bothering them (i.E. Schizophrenia) so the only explanation that is given is that it is a delusion or a hallucination, but the voices or thought insertion come from a separate intelligence (i.E demon spirit) that abuses the mind, will, and emotions of the person with this experience, to drive them crazy. Until one understands and knows that it isn't just "brain chemicals not working", and the only solution to treat schizophrenia, is drugs - no, they can help, but the true cause is spiritual.

Many people are being deceived by demonic spirits that appear as "angels of light" and are using the world of the spiritual new age to distract people away from the truth of god's word (bible) to lose souls that have not fully committed themselves to the truth of jesus christ. People do not want to talk about demons or demonic posession, but if you read the bible, there are several stories where christ delivered those afflicted with demons and were healed of this, the point of this was to let people know this exist (unfortunately), and don't be deceived into thinking that it doesn't.

It is not my intention to preach but: we live in a western society highly devoid of spirituality, a materialistic, consumer-bound society that believes in nothing that their precious eyes cannot see. Those that negate the existence of posession by a spirit, be it evil or otherwise, tormenting the sensitive, weak souls of a person afflicted by the term used by western medicine "schizophrenia" are ignorant of the basic principles of the bible. And I don't mean that you have to be a harsh-core religious nut to be spiritual and learn about god. A bible you can obtain pretty much everywhere these days and if not that a quran, or whatever teaches you about god. We are not only physical beings. We have a soul, a spirit, that we are not able to see, yet is very much there. I believe those suffering a schizophrenia crisis are souls that are targeted by evil forces driving them to insanity and eventually, suicide, if ignorance exists on this matter. This paragraph may seem almost cliche to a lot of us. You know the devil driving you insane so that he can take your soul....Blah, blah, blah?? But that is precisely what is happening. The only difference is that we now live in a "sophisticated civilization" that cannot tolerate such foolishness, naivity and superstitious nonsense. But in reality this has happened for thousands of years, why would it suddenly change! Technology does not equal advancement in spiritual matters, it has only made us ignorant to it. And if the person afflicted with "schizophrenia" believes that only chemical meds will relieve them of this torment, poor souls, they are in for a big surprise: in reality scientific medicine is at a loss when it comes to these types of illness, they are extremelly behind. They might put the patient in a stupor with all the crap prescribed to them, sometimes ridding them of some of the typical symptoms of this illness: the voices, hallucinations, delusions and confusion. But they fail to get rid of them, because in reality their souls are being tormented, "controlled", if you will, by foreign entities. This "mental illness" like all mental illnesses are spiritual illnesses, that can be relieved, that can very much be cured by the person's willingness and faith to believe in prayer to the only one that can undo this: jehovah. please to those that are so quick to jump to the posession is nonsense wagon, read the bible. You might learn a thing or two. by the way I am not a religious person. I don't belong to any institutionalized/organized religion. I am only a very spiritual person.

Demons do exist in the bible. They do not exist on earth. What you need to do is read the bible, talk to a therapist, talk to a clergiman and take medication. Please get help now, before your mind makes you do something that you don't want to do.

I am on medication (risperdal, small dose of .5mg 2x/day, and zoloft, 100mg/day, and neurontin, 900mg/day). I must say, I want to find some help in these forums, but so far have seen only arguing of sorts. Do demons exist? Or is it all in our heads? Are there spirits that contact the more perceptive? Or is it simply a means of coping? Do not quote bible stories, because I am sorry, but to my beliefs, they are just that, stories. They were conceived by man to teach lessons and gain power. Other than demon possession, how does one decipher these voices, and what about feeling touch, and seeing animals and people that arent there when we look back or ask someone else? I get physically "pushed" from behind...Is this a spirit, should I not be taking medication then? I realise only a health professional can advise me on this, but here we are also hearing that health professionals are in a conspiracy to maintain control over our minds...It is all so confusing! Don't know what I hoped to accomplish, as no one human soul can have the answer to what is truly the truth...I just wanted to express the conflicting "truths" that are getting me very upset at the moment. dragonmama, I can assure you that mental health professionals are not in a conspiracy to control anyone's minds...This very thought is a symptom of the disease. What kind of benefits would they get from doing that? I have a position in a hospital's psych ward and no one has ever talked about controlling anyone's mind. Rest assured that mental health professionals are in it because they care about people.

I can only try to persuade you to continue to take your medications and don't be taken in by those who insist it is some kind of spiritual entity.

Even edward cayce, the psychic, thought schizophrenia was biological in origin and advocated medicinal (as well as holistic) treatment.

Well reading all of this I can say theres more light shed on the whole thing, and I can tell you that iv shared this with my mum too, which gives her hope.. Thankyou dynamo321, what you wrote was very encouraging and uplifting. I also looked at that web site you put up too, victory over the demonic, I have printed out his testimony and given it to my mum to read..She is and still will take her meds, it helps her to relax a bit, shes having it rough today, but I will bare this with her, encourage her, and be there for her no matter what it takes.. She is my mother and my sister in christ.

I can´t thank you enough for this post, so many things are finally making sense to me. My stomach problems, the ball I feel that comes and go and so much more. I had the climax 3 days ago. I am normally a grounded and stable person. 3 days ago, I had a very intense meditation session. From which I came out feeling completely irrationale scared and freaked out, felt as I had too much sugar, I guess it was the excess of energy. Also was thinking in a erratic way. I slept about two hours. The day after I was kindof normal but without appetite. That nighti had a discussion with my boyfriend, something from which I would normally ahve coped with. But after he left I completely lost it. I started screaming like a crazy person. I went out from my house to the streets. Laid on the floor in a parking lot for about 15 minutes screaming and twisting, completely enraged and possessed. I wanted to kill myself throwing myself in front of a car. Finally someone came and calmed me down. It was about two blcks away from my house. When I got there I called someone on the phone, and couldn´t speak, there were this hissing sounds coming out of me. And I went out running again from the house completely out of control and yelliung haaaaaaa! Haaaaa! Haaaaaaa!.... Finally I walked and after some time I sat in front of a door completely drained of energy. At this time my boyfriend called me on the phone, he was lookingfor me and picked me up. Nothing like thismor close to this ever happened to me before. That night I went to sleep, and wake up in the middle of the nightm feeling extremely tired, but had completely forgotten what happened that night I remembered the next day. I feel now, with the dizzyness, numbness, no expression, witht the feeling I have something inside my heas, headache, my eyes are huirting like crazy. I lost my voice. This for me is beyond everything. I looked for possession last night , and didn´t find much related I found this because I made a search on torn chakra. ( I thought maybe I did something wrong while meditating or had what they call qigong disease which is when you have excess energy in your body that doesnçt find a proper channell) 2 days after, I still have this awful feeling, the headache like something is being inserted inside my brain. I don´t know what to do from here. So again I really thank you for the post. Please help! The most basic countermeasure: clean up your whole home thoroughly, specially the bedroom. Vacuum clean any dust, open all the windows and let a lot of fresh air in. Wash your close and bedsheets often, take a short shower a few times a day, specially before going to bed at night (no need to soap yourself). -------------- i also, i'd reccomend that everybody educates themselves on the subject of the human energy body and energy centers (chakra's), the astral planes and astral projection - google a little and read some of the many books that have by now been written on this subject.[/quote]
