I am curious how many were ordered to take a colonoscopy as part of screening for gallbladder disease? I've had two pelvic untrasounds, gb ultrsound, a ct scan and a hida scan. This just within the year, and part of the tests were for a gyn problem. This is different pain, gastro doc thinks it gb related, but I have no stones. I do not want to do the colonoscopy, I don't think it's necessary. I've already paid almost $3000 out of pocket (after insurance) for the above tests. Plus, I just don't see a lot of posts about it here either. I can understand ordering it if he absolutely rules out gb problems (as best as he can) but just not arbitrarily flip off the order. I am really upset.
