Is dilatin a common medication for epilepsy? I have a "friend" who claims he has epilepsy but he is a known lier. He gave me the name of a medication and I can't find it anywhere on the internet. Is this a medication for epilepsy?

Yes, dilantin is a drug used to treat epilepsy. Dilantin is the brand name of the drug, which is actually called phenytoin. It is used as an anticonvulsant where patients suffer convulsions from the epilepsy. Here is some more info on it--http://www.Mentalhealth.Com/drug/p30-d 05.Html
