Does anyone know what makes urine a dark
color, or what makes it smell??? I am not
sure what is wrong and my doctor's
appointment isn't for another few
weeks..... Someone please help

It can be an infection but the reason it
can be very dark and smelling is because
you are not getting enough water. Drink a
few glasses everyday and it should help
before you go to the doc.

Most of the time, dehydration is the
reason it tends to be dark. Like nikki
said, drinking more water usually will
make things go back to normal. Also
though, some medications can affect urine
color and smell too. Have you been
taking some prescription medication, like
antibiotics? Also, some diet pills do it
too.
