Okay I normally post in the teen pregnancy
forum and the pregnancy forum...But im
trying to jump around and meet other
people in different forums now
okay my son jace is 8 months ....And my
problem is he doesnt have one tooth
yet...And his peditrician told me that I
could start him on solids at 8 months that
didnt have much sugar or salt in
them...But without teeth he is choking on
everything ..Even number 3 baby foods are
choking him because they are more chunky
then they mashed up number 2 foods...Im
lost on what to do ..Is there things I can
do to make his teeth come through faster
..My friends baby is 4 months and has 3
teeth ..And my cousins baby had all his
front teeth at the age jace is now..Its
starting to worry me because I am starting
to think something is wrong..Am I the only
one or has anyone elses baby had this
problem?...

It isn't because he doesn't have teeth
that he's choking. He just needs
practice. It takes motor skills and
reflexes to be able to gum, swallow and
adjust to new foods. How long have you
been trying? I'd just give him a little
more time to adjust to the newness and
learn how to eat it. As far as speeding
up the teething process, don't think
there's a way. Not having teeth at 8
months is not a "problem". It's rather
normal. I don't think my son had his
first tooth until he was at the latter end
of 7 months. Then he got 2 at 9 months.
It's just different for all children (as
is everything else)

my older sisters baby didn't start getting
his teeth until he was almost a year.Now
he is a yr and 3months old and only has
four.Every baby is different and I don't
think there is much you can do to push it
along.Just be patient and it will happen!
