I'm going to be 30 years old. I'm healthy. My fiance and I use condoms. The first weekend in march, we had sex while I was menstruating. We did it several times but everytime he did pull-out. Then after I finished menstruating we returned to using condoms. Well, about 10 days ago, I thought I was getting my period again. I went to the restroom, wiped and found a little blood so I put in a tampon that night. The next day, when I went to go take it out, the tampon had a good size, normal amount of red blood on it. I took it out and we had sex unprotected, but he did pull out. Well I still haven't gotten my period. I doubt i"m pregnant, as i'm not exhibiting any of the signs. No morning sickness, no increased urination, no changes in my breasts, no weird cravings. I've only noticed that i've been eating a lot of sugar, which I tend to do before my period, but I still haven't gotten it. I dont' want to waste the money on a pregnancy test when I could have just waited little longer. I'm really bad because I don't keep track of my periods, but I do know they typically come the 1st week of the month. It's only the 11th. But now it's buggin me enough to post on here and after work we're going to get a test. My concerns are that ....

A few days ago, I had x-rays done and I said no when they asked if I had any chance of being pregnant. I've also taken a few thermogenics. I also take 300mg wellbutrin and 20 mg celexa daily.I also drank a few wine coolers last weekend. If I am pregnant do I need to be concerned now?

Also is feeling full and feeling like your belly is sticking out normal for a 1-2 weeks pregnant? I don't know if i'm just being extra sensitive out of worry. And no i'm not mistaking bloating for it.

My other concern is that I bled as much as I did and it wasn't a period...That's never happened to me before. I have normal pap smears. I've never bled after he and I have had sex before. I think I bled more then spotting.

I'm not freakin out, just full of questions....

Any thoughts, advice, etc....Is appreciated.

Thanks!

What's completely skipping a period? I'm not worried, I mean I talked to my fiance and he's supportive no matter what happens cuz "he loves me" :) so that's what matters.

As for your concerns about the x-rays and wine coolers and whatnot.... You can't change the past, so don't worry yourself over it. It's not like you intentionally did anything wrong.

I don't know if you are in the states or not but you can get accurate pregnancy tests at the dollar store. The walmart brand pregnancy test is only approximately $5 and less, I believe. Unless you get a two-pack.

Planned parenthood gives pregnancy tests for free. So if it is a concern over cost for testing you shouldn't worry.

There are many reasons you could bloat. A lot of premenstrual symptoms are also the symptoms of early pregnancy. It doesn't sound like you are pregnant, though there is always that possibility.

My advice is to always use birth control if you don't want to be pregnant. My best friend got pregnant on her period - it is possible. If you don't like condoms you could look into other barrier methods or the pill.

Good luck.
