What's the risk for uninfected man to get infected if hiv+ woman performs unprotected oral sex on his penis?

What? None? Are you serious? I thought the right answer is low risk and just wanted to know any statistic of men infected with hiv by that way.

In the 20+ years of intense hiv research, there have been no documented cases of transmission from recieiving oral sex.

The facts -

1. Saliva does not transmit hiv
2. Saliva has properties which inactivate the hiv particle

whatever spin you may wish to place on it, such as any traces of blood present etc., the mouth is an extremely inhospitable place for an extremely fragile virus. And, no one has ever been confirmed as having been infected with hiv this way. You won't be the first.

Please visit aidsmeds.Com, and post in the fears forum if you want confirmation.

Oral Sex

Speaking in terms of documented cases we could say anything based on our our knowledge of wide spread reading. However, saliva is proven to have minute quantities of the virus in it. Providing oral sex in in fact a minimum risk exposure as the virus in the saliva has a change of entering the body through bleeding gums or other mouth related injuries.

This book could be useful to everyone "understanding and preventing aids: a book for everyone" . An online version is freely available from http://www.Aproposinc.Co m/hap/catch.Htm

i should also admit that recent researches have been done though if not standardised that saliva has some mechanism to kill the hiv virus

Very useful information. Thanks a lot. Hard to believe that all of these 40-50 new cases new infected through oral sex in uk every year, noone is infected through getting a blowjob. Cause if the mouth of the hiv+ woman
has bleeding gums, I don't see any problem for this blood to have contact with the uretra of man's penis. I find very difficult to believe the enzyme in her saliva will be able to make her own blood not-infectious.

You don't get hiv from recieving a blowjob. Has never happened in the 20+ years of hiv.
