Q: Genital Odor

last year I had a cervical cancer scare, they did a biopsy and found out I was in the good. I healed and went on with my life. Tonight my boyfriend proceeded to tell me that my genital area smelled like the "protein paste?" that they used to heal the wounds when he is performing oral on me. However, it never smelled like that before even after I freshly healed.
Now I havent had any strange discharges, no itching, no burning. As far I knew I was 110% healthy down there. Could this be a infection? For some reason I took his comment personally and it hurt me. I know to not do that and schedule a visit with my Dr.
Can anyone help me? :?:

Any unusual odor "down there" could mean an infection. It's not uncommon for women to get bacterial vaginitis, but you'll need to get a prescription from your doctor if that's the case.
