like saying if you do not want a car accident do not drive, helloing .E.D.I.T.S.Oh look another sychophantic pro choice.

.E.D.I.T.E.D to say "pro choice"
no actually it's not the same thing (bad anology)a better anology would be *if you don't like abortion then don't have sex* ,but yes I agree with the original statement "if you don't like them don't get one" pretty simple huh?

I agree, if you do not like abortions, do not have an abortion as their are other choices.

I concur - there is no law saying that a woman needs to have an abortion. It's strictly a matter of choice, which is why supporters of the procedure are known as pro-choice. Isn't that a strange coincidence?

I completely agree. Make your own choice, don't abort but don't try to take away other womens rights to do so.

This goes along with "the-only-moral/right-abortion-is-my-abort ion" thread.

We can all make judgements about a number of issues and situations. I, for example, think there needs to be some more hand gun control. I want the government to follow my personal beliefs and pass my agenda into law. Are they going to do so? No. Just like abortion rights, I cannot force my beliefs onto the majority no matter how strongly I personally feel about it.

In essence, you are completely right. If I don't believe in personal hand gun ownership, than I will not personally own guns but I don't arrogantly force my neighbors to also not own hand guns. If you don't like abortion, then don't have one. And, if you happen to be one of the 1/3 of all american .Women who will end up having one in the future (i think this has actually dropped recently but only slightly), then don't turn around and condemn the other .Women who are exactly like you. Or better yet, just stay true to your beliefs in the first place and don't become a hypocrite by having one.

Peace,
jenn
