Hey, I am just about 7 weeks pregnant and I have been reading alot on here about miscarriages being a risk until about 13 weeks.... Since i've been reading this, i've been a little nervous about having a miscarriage (last night I dreamt that I had one and when I woke up this morning, my dream had felt so real that I went into the bathroom to make sure I wasn't bleeding) anyways, I was just wondering if any of you ladies could spare some words of comfort as I am really scared..... Even though I don't think I am having an symptoms of a miscarriage, I learned that I am in the prime peak of misscarriage stage (nearing the end of the first trimester) and I need some words of comfort..... Thanks a bunch.....

First of all relax! I had a m/c with my first pregnancy at 8 1/2 weeks. With my next pregnancyi ws very nervous about having another one but I didnt and had a baby boy named river we are trying to ttc right now for a few months just a month really trying though I know there is always a chance but stressing yourself out isnt going to help. Just relax and enjoy the blessed expierience and congrats on ur pregnancy!
P.S. My Dr. Adv me to eat very healthy and try and keep yourself as pure as you can (as far as what goes into your body) that made me feel lots better too!

My dr always told me caffiene and foods with a lot of fat in them. I ate mostly foods with a lot of fiber and minerals in them. I was a major cereal and oatmeal eater. I also indulged in ice cream and mexican food but caffiene causes bladder /kidney probs which of course isnt good for preg wemon and always follow what your dr advice. Take your vitamens. I know its hard to relax you have mill things going through your head but its a blessed time and as much as you can you should enjoy it.

Wow! I guess i'm already on the right track! I used to be a tea drinker but I knew I was intaking lots of caffeine so when I found out I was preg, I stopped drinking it right away! And I am eating cereal in the morning for breakfast (my favorite is cheerios .... Is that a good choice?) I love mexican food... What entrees should I steer clear of ?

Youll have to ask your dr about the more detailed questions but staying away fr caffeine and any cig smoke and a lot of fat also made my morning sickness not so bad. I definitley didnt diet I gained 78lbs. But I ate a lot of healthy foods also. Well congrats I hope it all goes well! I cant wait til we get a bfp!

Sorry for not replying right away. The time difference is hard here. The first months can be very trying. After my miscarriage I don't think I really felt comfortable with the pregnancy until after I felt the baby move. I honestly don't think there is really all that much you can do to prevent it. If there is something wrong with the embryo/fetus there isn't anything that you can do. I am sure your pregnancy is going to be fine. Just try to stay positive. When is your next appt?
