My fiancee and I were talking the other day and she asked me if i'd seen any info on how likely it was for a woman to become pregnant during her period? Does anyone know?

Rthere are people who do practice "natural family planning" who consider the period to be a safe week. In reality if you are not on birth control pills it is not necessarily a safe week at all. Sperm can live in a woman up to 5 days..So say you ovlate on day 12.... But day 7 you are stil on your period, you could get pregnant... Unless you monitor your ovulation with a tracker and test strips you never know when you are truly fertile or not...
